Description
- Work with the Director of Photography and broader editorial department to source imagery for editorial articles, decks, mood boards, and other editorial purposes
- Work with editors and writers to bring their stories to life through innovative artwork that takes advantage of the platform
- Edit and retouch photos, and work with Director of Photography to ensure quality of photography and design placement on the website
- Ensure sourced images align with our editorial standards and style guidelines
- Work cohesively with social team to ensure social photographs live up to our photography brand standards and create images specifically usable in social formats
- Complete special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in photography, photo editing or photo-centric art direction
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge)
- Familiarity with photography workflow standards and digital asset management systems, a plus
- Maintain proper file naming and asset management
- Experience working under tight deadlines
- Eye for detail
